This is an advanced certificate in Quebec Immigration Law to be delivered to anyone wanting more in-depth knowledge about the Quebec Immigration system.
The intent of the advanced certificate in Quebec Immigration Law is to provide a history of Quebec Immigration; the Canada-Quebec Accord; the ability of Quebec to select foreign nationals for temporary and permanent entry to Quebec; the unique role of the Ministere de l’Immigration, de la Diversite et de l’Inclusion (MIDI); an overview and analysis of Quebec Immigration pursuant to the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA), the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations (IRPR), the Quebec Immigration Act(QIA), and Quebec Immigration Regulations (QIR); a review of the relevant forms and case law.
None, however, this certificate is designed for Lawyers and paralegals who are members in good standing with a Canadian provincial or territorial law society; Notaries who are members in good standing with the Chambre des notaires du Québec; and Citizenship or immigration consultants who are members in good standing with the Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council.

Please run a test to ensure whether your device can run Adobe Connect. You may be required to install the Adobe Connect add-in. If that’s the case, you will receive instructions to do so when you access a meeting for the first time. It is mandatory to run a Diagnostic Test to join an Adobe Connect meeting on a computer. The Diagnostic Test ensures that your computer and network connections are verified.
Adobe Connect mobile app is only available on Android devices and iOS. Recorded sessions are not accessible via the mobile device app, so students will need to use a desktop/laptop to view the recorded sessions.
