Utilization of conflict resolution skills and strategies in the workplace will help to maintain a healthy work environment. These critical skills are required on a daily basis and are vital to the success of a company. Organization leaders are responsible for creating a work environment that enables people to thrive. If turf wars, disagreements, and differences of opinion escalate into interpersonal conflict, you must intervene immediately with conflict resolution mediation. Not intervening is not an option if you value your organization and your positive culture. In conflict-ridden situations, your mediation skills and interventions are critical. This course teaches how to resolve a conflict before any crisis takes place; it covers the causes of conflict and explores the benefits of resolving conflict in a way that is effective for people and their circumstances. Students will learn the most effective conflict resolution techniques that apply in most business situations.
