Cloud computing course will introduce students to public cloud tools and concepts. It will give the students an overview of 3 major players (AWS, Azure and GCP) and will allow them to perform basic tasks such as creating a cloud based instance, connection to it, managing and monitoring it. This class is designed for people who have little or no prior experience with cloud technologies. System administrators, developers, and architects new to the cloud can all benefit from the content covered in this class, especially if they are looking to evaluate which cloud technologies might be the best fit for their organization.
None, however, previous experience in networking, OS administration or virtualization is an asset.

He began with Network and Endpoint security and moved further into the areas of Web, Application, Messaging and Cloud Security. George Mikhailov holds a master’s degree in IT Security and has industry certifications such as CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) and CEH ( Certified Ethical Hacker). He is currently working on his PhD, focusing on advanced threat detection.

Ashton College uses web conferencing tools (Zoom for Education) to help instructors and students connect and collaborate live online. Students should have access to a computer, laptop or smartphone to access the class sessions. To be able to participate in webinars, students need a webcam and headset, or a microphone and headphones, along with a high-speed internet connection.
Registration fee for this course is $650.
No books required. Some readings will be suggested and available online.
This course does not require approval by the Private Training Institutions Branch of the Ministry of Advanced Education, Skills & Training. As such, it was not reviewed.
